Summer Nerd
Fanfics are so stupid. I think they’re incredibly cheesy/pointless, and generally, they’re written by people with a second grade writing level. I promised myself I would never get sucked into the whole fanfic thing…
But crap. I found one that’s actually pretty good. And the level of writing isn’t sucky either. I hate that I’m this lame. I wish I wasn’t this much of a nerd. I’m a part of a fandom…and I thought I’d never say that. I guess if you’re gonna break promises, it’s better that you break the ones that you make to yourself, instead of the ones you make to other people…right?
In other news, I spent the better part of my day catching up on all of the Pretty Little Liars episodes that college made me get behind in, and painting my nails green.
Unfortunately, this dummy gobbed too much polish onto her nails, and started playing her guitar before they dried all the way. So now they look like crap. But I managed to successfully learn two Parachute songs, and get a start on two others. So, in the end, it was worth it.
I think Will and Nate would be proud.
